Land's End to John o'Groats - start and finish

LEJOG is starting! And how beautiful it is already! Yesterday I spent a great night in London (thank you! 😊), had a nice bike ride in London rush hour (really) and took the train to Penzance. Biked to Land’s End, same route as today, but it’s so pretty, I could do it every day! The camp ground I was staying at was great! More wild, in terms of nature, less stuffy then France. And great showers/toilets as well. I was a bit worried about the roads and drivers, including myself, but all good! Can’t wait for the next days/weeks. It will be hilly, but if it is like today, a dream!

Started the day at a great campsite. Ended it in one. Both were very much in nature and had great wildlife. From to bunnies to white owls, which I didn’t see. Close to tiny villages and spooky graveyards. Beautiful ride along hedges with tons of little flowers and even a little ferry ride. I went to the national trust to have a scone with clotted cream, I have a sweet spot for both. And had a Cornish pasty at the sea side.
