Another sunny day at the canal! In France I encounter nuclear power plants quite often. At least I think that’s what they’re. They always give me creeps, but make me a bit of nostalgic as well. I grew up with Chernobyl. But I always think off Loriot and the Xmas scene when they unpack their presents. I passed Sancerre and thought about having a tiny bit of wine for lunch, but then I skipped. I actually never drink while biking, at least when fully loaded. I find it too dangerous. Had a great dinner and a very mediocre campsite. Again, always astonishing what a difference it makes when the campground managers are unfriendly.

Chairs on the tent space in Bourbon-Lancy

Well, you guessed it. Canal. But as well a great campsite, a baby dachshund and a thunderstorm. Given that the campsite offered all that I need, water boiler, chair and ice cream, I spent a rest day there to not get in the thunderstorm.
